Charger Plate - White clay

Wheel-thrown handmade Charger plate. A Charger plate is almost like a ceramic placemat for the table and used for decoration, All other tableware goes on top of it. These are fine pieces and need extra care.

Being handmade, each piece is truly unique which means no two will be exactly the same. Each piece will have its own beautiful unique personality. For me, this is what makes them so special.

Glaze: White Gloss Glaze

Care: While each piece is made to be used every day these pieces do need additional care. These are larger and finer pieces and I would recommend hand washing or wiping them over as they are not designed to serve food directly from them. Metal utensils, abrasive chemicals and cleaners, and foods that have the potential to stain can damage the surface. Taking your piece from a very hot environment to a very cold one can cause thermal shock. So take care!

All glazes are food-safe and non-toxic.
