STRENGTH IN VULNERABILITY with Kane Ford

STRENGTH IN VULNERABILITY with Kane Ford

If there was one thing you think society should talk more about, what would it be?

“The strength you can feel through vulnerability- especially the strength men can feel embracing vulnerability (I definitely think men should talk more about this)”

___________

Today we meet a beautiful, energetic being called Kane Ford. He’s the founder of Get Outside Australia and has a passion for travelling and the outdoors. Kane understands what it takes to succeed in the corporate world but he learned the hard way the need for real work/life balance, not the one we just talk about. In recent years he has faced mental health challenges relating to anxiety and burnout and wants to use his experience to help others realise the physical and mental benefits of simply ‘getting outside’.

Through Kane’s lived experience and commitment to improving people’s mental health, the Get Outside community has raised over $20,000 in support of Movember and has worked closely with a number of brands such as Columbia Sportswear, Merrell, MYOB and as the official brand ambassador for Will+Bear.

Kane also has a strong connection to Australia’s indigenous culture having volunteered for two months in various aboriginal communities in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Please enjoy this wonderful conversation with Kane Ford.
