Episode 17: Invisible Woman Syndrome with Carlii Lyon

Episode 17: Invisible Woman Syndrome with Carlii Lyon

If there was one thing you think society should talk more about, what would it be.

“Invisible Woman Syndrome and the fact women do seem to disappear from view after a certain age.”

Not only do we owe it to ourselves to remain visible, but we also owe it to younger women who are learning that their value is tied to a timeline that suspiciously coincides with changes in physical appearance. We need to be telling them that their value will exist for as long as they do. We need to be showing them all the reasons they can look forward to becoming wiser and embracing the wisdom that only time can offer.

______

For the past 15 years, Carlii Lyon has been shaping the personal brands of remarkable individuals from across the globe. Her past clients include a world-leading supermodel (the beautiful, Miranda Kerr), New York Times bestselling authors, inventors, musicians, and even a British celebrity foot reader! ...I need to ask more about that!

Today, Carlii spends her time educating teams of iconic international brands about personal branding as well as helping everyday individuals master the art of putting themselves out there. Something I can say first hand, many of us are pretty uncomfortable with!

She is a disarmingly beautiful person who is so authentically herself that I was instantly attracted to Carlii when I met her last year. She has a depth of wisdom you don’t often see in this industry and always has such great stories to tell so I’m looking forward to seeing where the conversation takes us today.
